My project was officially approved by the board and they said I should work with disabled musicians or organizations that could help me tailor my design to what people want. In class I sent Megan my first key prototype to print and then did very important chemistry work.

The tank had a lot of biofilm and the tank was too alkaline. Leo says we need to put something acidic in it. Leo is doing most of the detailed work while I just help him out for the most part. So this class I did mostly my own project which was 3d modeling in fusion. I’m getting a lot better at fusion but still I probably have a lot to learn

Today me and leo walked in to see an absurd amount of biofilm, which Leo was eager to ingest. We wanted to change the water, and he had the idea of sucking on a tube to siphon the water. After that didn’t work, I found the method of filling the tube with water in the sink then moving it. We cleaned the tank and the walls and prepped some fresh water for next time.

Leo and I noticed the moss was pretty much dead, we think the moss wasn’t meant to be completely submerged in water. Other than that everything going well. I am learning how to use the electrical 2d schematic feature in fusion and I’m making the pcb.

Locked in on fusion this week. I’m figuring out how to use it and I’m doing the pcb work in there. I got a little help from claude to connect and map out all the parts i need so i can get some PCB drafts for when I get a multikey prototype

This week, Leo and I did a lot of work on our shrimp tank and finished everything, now we just need the shrimp. So after that project was done, I got back to my own project. I downloaded fusion and am getting familiar with it. I’m trying to design the keys and the mechanism to make them move

I put a silicone sheet on my parts list, but my dimensions were mistyped and completely wrong. I looked over the original plans and got the right dimensions i needed. The spider wood had been soaked and was much cleaner. The shrimp tank arrived, and Leo and I started to soak the plants that have arrived so they don’t die. We also used the aquarium glue to glue some of the spider wood pieces together and attach moss to them.

Megan ordered my parts, and some of the shrimp tank materials arrived. We started to boil the spider wood, which is necessary for letting the tannins soak out. It took a while because we used a large bowl with a small kettle for boiling the water.

I worked on finding parts for my accessible keyboard project. I put together a list with products I think might work. Other than that, Leo Ben David and I worked on our shrimp tank planning.
